RAJOURI, June 1:  The villagers and their children held protest demonstration against the Education Department for zero percent result in Matriculation examination and blocked road in Chingus area of Rajouri today.
The students of Govt High School Bhagla in Chatyari area along with their parents today came out on Jammu-Rajouri road at Chingus and raised barricades. They stopped the movement of vehicular traffic  and started protest demonstration against CEO Rajouri, Director School Education Jammu and Education Minister Naeem Akhtar. The villagers said there are 180 plus students in this Govt High School but for the last nearly one year only three teachers are placed there. Despite repeated requests, the teachers were not given to this school. No student could get through in the Matriculation exam, results of which were declared few days back.
They demanded that either teachers be placed there or Transfer Certificate (TC) be given to the students so that parents could shift their children in private schools. Later, SHO reached the spot and pacified the agitating people to take up the issue with the DC  and CEO. The people then lifted dharna after an hour.
