UDHAMPUR, June 6: A deputation of Dyali Chak villagers today called on CEO Udhampur and urged him not to shift the Government Middle School of their village.
The deputation, led by Som Raj, told the CEO that shifting of Dyali Chak school would adversely affect studies of the village students. He also warned that if their request is not given a consideration, the villagers would have no option other than to sit on hunger strike against the proposed move.
The CEO assured that he would take up the matter with higher authorities and apprise them about demand of the villagers.
