Vinayak Nagar residents frame Mohalla Welfare Committee

JAMMU, Oct 25: The residents of Jwalla Lane, Vinayak Nagar, Sector-1, Muthi, Jammu framed a Mohalla Welfare Committee in a meeting held here today.
The Committee was formed to ease the problems being faced by the inhabitants of the area in connection with bad conditions of the roads, frequent power cuts and squint-eyed treatment by Jammu Municipality.
Veer Ji Bhat was named as chairman of the Committee, while Roshan Lal Bhat was nominated as president.
Rattan Lal Bhat will be senior vice president and Raj Nath Pandita as vice president.
Hoshyar Singh Manhas was named as treasurer, while Anil Pandita and Rakesh Bhat were nominated as general secretary and secretary respectively.
The executive members included Dewan Chand, AK Khosa, Ramesh Pandita and BL Bambroo.
The members of the Committee appealed the Jammu Municipality to engage sweepers in the area as it has remained unattended from its existence.
