Music, not necessarily the classic sweet music but masala mix, hard and so called modern , has become a part of daily life of some of us so much that we must get it on board a flying aircraft. Go to a shopping, enter a metador, drive your own vehicle, in home, outside and anywhere we must get the stuff but that we must get it in an aircraft which is air borne and is sensitive in all respects seems strange
. Sonu Nigam was asked by a few passengers to sing a song for them , he readily agreed and took over the public address system used by the crew and entertained the passengers. The pilot in the cockpit was unaware of the concert going on outside the cockpit.
Some responsible passengers must have objected to such a breach of rules and procedures especially when the plane was up high in the skies.
A small token fees was charged by the competent civil aviation authorities from all the crew members of this Jodhpur flight by subjecting them to face disciplinary proceedings.
This act both by the singer and those who asked him to sing is illegal and anti security norms in an active flight. While these tactics are indulged in by such people for publicity, an action against Sonu Nigam must be taken as a deterrent move.
