JAMMU, Jan 15: Former Advisor to J&K Governor in early nineties and retired IAS Officer, Virendra Prakash passed away on last Thursday.
The senior most officer in AGMU Cadre (1959 batch), Virendra Prakash had served as Chief Secretary of Delhi Administration in the 80’s and later as Secretary, Government of India.
He passed away after a brief illness on January 13 in United States, where he was staying at his daughter’s place.
