SRINAGAR, Aug 8: J&K Rural Development Society (JKRDS) chairman, Haji Mubarak Gul today asked Society’s functionaries to widen the reach of its programmes to district level in order to make an active lead in creating awareness on various issues concerning the Society.
Gul was addressing a virtual meeting of Society’s District and Provincial functionaries.
During his real time interaction with the functionaries, he impressed upon them to take People’s Help Group (PHG) initiative to every district and ensure that the populace of every district is benefited.
The participants during their course of interaction with the chairman apprised him about Society’s activities underway at their respective areas and demanded constitution of Lal Ded Award to the list of awards given annually by the Society and the chairman agreed to the demand.
Gul asked the functionaries to diversify the cause of PHG initiatives being taken under its realm.
“We have to broaden our horizon and work for fostering unity in J&K,” he said.
He also impressed upon the functionaries to intensify their efforts towards increasing the awareness on drug addiction, environment degradation, dowry and road safety.
The meet was attended by vice chairman JKRDS, Babu Rampal; chairman Youth Wing & PHG, Yunis Mubarak Gul and other provincial, zonal, district, women wing and youth wing office bearers.
