JAMMU, Nov 6: A complaint has been lodged by Store Manager of Vishal Mega Mart with Police Station Janipur stating that two persons identified as Jeevan Kohli and his son Sahil Kohli trespassed into the Mart and created nuisance and misbehaved with the staff.
As per police sources, Store Manager Vishal Mega Mart Sanjeev Singh lodged a complaint with Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Janipur stating that Jeevan Kohli and Sahil Kohli trespassed into the Mart and started creating ruckus and nuisance.
“Jeevan Kolhi asked me that why the store is open after 8 pm”, the complainant said, adding that when they were told that as per District Magistrate order the shops and business establishments can operate till 9 pm, Jeevan Kohli started misbehaving with him and his staff.
Jeevan Kohli and Sahil Kohli forcefully closed the gate of the Mart and wrongfully restricted the entry of the customers into the store, Singh stated in his complaint.
“Me and my team requested Jeevan Kohli not to close the gate of the Mart but he threatened me of teaching a lesson”, Singh said, adding that when Jeevan Kohli and his son did not open the gate of the Mart, we called the Police at Dial 100 and informed them about the situation.
Singh requested the SHO to initiate legal action against the father-son duo for threatening him and creating law and order situation in the Mart.
However, police summoned both Jeevan Kohli and Sahil Kohli at Janipura police station and interrogated them for creating nuisance and misbehaving with the staff of the Mart.
Further investigations in the matter are in progress.
