KATHUA, Dec 27: Vishawkarma Sabha Kathua elected its new body during a one-day convention held at Vishawkarma Temple near old Bus Stand Kathua.
A number of people of Vishawkarma community participated in the election process under the chairmanship of Shashikanta Verma (Chairman, Municipal Council Nagri Parole), Naseeb Chand Verma (retired Colonel), Dr Yash Paul Verma and Chuni Lal (SC/ST/OBC corporation district manager).
The community members unanimously re-elected Kartar Nath Verma as president of the Sabha where as Neelam Salaria was elected as president of women wing.
Later, the new body was declared which comprises of Subash Chander (vice president), Jeet Raj (vice president), Ravikant Verma (general secretary) and Chajju Ram Verma (cashier).
