Vishwa Bharti holds symposium on Vivekananda’s philosophy

JAMMU, Feb 2: Vishwa Bharti Institute of Education organised within its Akalpur Jammu Complex a colourful impressive symposium under “Ek Bharat Vijai Bharat” awareness campaign on completion of 50 years of Living Vivekananda Rock Memorial Kanyakumari .
The participants representing youth, teaching faculty from Primary; Secondary; B. Ed College status & other dignitaries spoke on Swami Vivekananda Ji’s life & massage for human particularly youth towards “Man Making & Nation Building”. The function in collaboration with Shree Ramakrishna Mahasammelan Ashram Nagdandim was presided over by the Director; Vishwa Bharti Institutes, J. K. Koul who was also the chief guest on the occasion. It was organised by Anupurna Koul, School Principal under guidance of S. K. Koul, secretary Vishwa Bharti Management Kashmir.
B. L. Bhat, Chairman; “SRMA” Nagdandi was the guest of honour. Among other dignitaries who were present included Prof A. N. Sadhu, a well known scholar, Dr O. P. Naqasi, Yogender Koul IGP (retd) and B. L. Saraf; Principal district and Sessions Judge (retd). Students representing Primary; Secondary & College standards of Vishwa Bharti Institute spoke with utter confidence on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda Ji especially the message towards youth.
The Cultural programs presented by school children were exemplary to charge all especially youth towards accomplishment of Swamiji’s mission of “Man Making & Nation Building. The prominent persons who spoke on Swamiji & his mission of life included Anupurna Koul, Reeta Bambru, Prof Bharti Bhat, Prof A. N. Sadhu and J. K. Koul.
B. L. Bhat; Chairman; SRMA; Nagdandi explained the Ashram objectives and its role towards accomplishment of Swamiji’s Mission of promoting Intra-Inter State Integration from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. He appealed the youth to follow the ideals of Swamiji and participate in Yoga & other programs organised by Ashram under Spiritually Oriented Service Mission activities.
A student of the School who excelled in cultural show was provided a bicycle as gift by the chief guest.
