JAMMU, Feb 21: On the eve of “Vishwakarma Prakat Divas Celebrations”, Pradesh Vishwak-arma Shaba (PVS) released current issue of the community magazine “Vishwakarma Yug”.
The function was presided over by Labha Ram Gandhi, Jagdish Verma and Kuldip Verma (Former Vice Chairman OBC Board).
Labha Ram Gandhi, while releasing the magazine congratulated the Convenor of The Vishwakarma Library, Ramesh Angotra, for his commendable efforts for running the publication in continuity.
RL Chargotra, vice president, Akhil Bhartya Vishwakarma Mahasabha in his address told the gathering that publication of Vishwakarma Yug magazine is an appreciable effort. He further disclosed that this magazine was started in 2011 by Vishwakarma Library and Research Centre (SVLARC), New Plots Jammu and is being continued by the dedicated team of SVLARC.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Kumar, president of Shakti Nagar Unit appealed the community members to supports the Sabha by all possible means.
Balwant Kataria presented the welcome address and conducted the proceedings of the event. He disclosed that the magazine is aimed at providing platform to the budding writers, poets and artists of community. A large chunk of Vishwakarma people including women and children from all over the Jammu province attended the programme.
In the end, a magic show was also organised.
Shashi Verma, President of the Sabha presented vote of thanks. The organizers’ team included Jagdish Kargbtra, Charanjit Bitta, Joginder Angotra, Sham Chargotra, Vinod Jaral and Raman Chalotra.
Among others present were Puran Chargotra, Janak Raj Changotra, Rajinder Kumar, Rakesh Chalotra, Chuni Lal Dhiman, Jaswant Rai, Rattan Changotra and Captain Lal Chand.
