BARAMULLA, Mar 27: Stating that the vision of late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed is a sacred Mission for PDP, Senior PDP leader and MLA Rafiabad, Yawar Dilawar Mir, today asked the party cadres to shoulder their responsibilities with added zeal and zest to fructify this vision.
Addressing party workers at Rafiabad, the MLA said in view of the latest developments on the socio-political scenario of the State, especially in the wake of sudden demise of visionary leader Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the responsibilities of the PDP workers have increased manifolds and they shall have to be ready to play their pivotal role in mitigating the sufferings of the people and implementation of the party programmes.
He said that the people of the State have pinned high hopes with the PDP dispensation and they have to strengthen the hands of Mehbooba Ji and leave no stone unturned to come up to their expectations.
Yawar Mir also cautioned the workers about the machinations of the opposition to create misunderstanding among the people by raising frivolous issues. “These defeated parties have joined chorus to target PDP but the people of the State are wise enough to differentiate between their friends and foes,” Yawar added.
He asked the party workers to help people in redressing their grievances and create awareness among them about the welfare and development programmes of the Government.
