KATHUA, Oct 5: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) J&K flayed the Union Government for deputing its 70 ministers to take stock of problems of J&K people.
In a press conference here today S.R Majotra, BSP J&K president and DDC Member of Nagri claimed that visit of the ministers was an eye wash.
“They are visiting J&K to enjoy the beauty of Kashmir along with their relatives and friends,” the BSP leader said adding that the visiting ministers visited selected people of BJP and not common people.
He said that in Kathua the administration made mockeries of these visits because senior Government officers were busy to provide security to the visiting ministers and they befooled the poor masses on schemes.
“The Rural Development minister selectively met Panchayat members, BDC and DDC members of BJP at Billawar throwing all the protocol to winds,” Majotra maintained adding that even DDC members were not allowed to speak and the Minister along with his staff were not even ready to take memorandum from public representatives.
He also said that after abolishing Article 370 unemployment increased in J&K.
Sandeep Majotra, DDC Nagri Kathua, Raman Kumar district BSP president Kathua, Tara Chand, Raj Kumar, Surinder Paul and Sunil Majotra were also present in the press conference.
