JAMMU, Oct 8: Former minister and senior National Conference leader, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today claimed that visits of Union Ministers have proved non- productive and `flop show’ like B2V Programme in the Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating Trikuta Institute at Burj for youth for undergoing training for recruitment in Army, Para Military Force and Police as constables and officers, Sadhotra said this type of training is first of its kind in border and rural area of Marh Assembly Constituency. He appreciated the efforts of Amit Kumar, an Ex-serviceman for opening it and wished him all success.
The NC leader said that fast rise in unemployment in the country, and especially in Marh Sub Division is a matter of grave concern. It has frustrated and disappointed the youth. BJP Govt instead of concentrating on creating more and more employment avenues, is busy in raising hollow slogans to exploit youth and doing wasteful expenditure on visits of Union Ministers and programmes like B2V. It is unfortunate the Govt offices has a deserted look as employees/ officers were busy for making the arrangements for visits of Union Ministers and common man was forced to face difficulties to get their day to day problems solved.
He further added that the BJP’s hollow slogans of 2 crore per year employment to youth in the country then 50000 employment in J&K and now 80 % of employment in five years by present Lt Governor has proved all `Jumlas’ like Rs 15 lakh cash to every individual.
National Conference leader asserted that Jammu & Kashmir is a sensitive border part of the country it cannot afford `Jumlas’. BJP Govt should come out with comprehensive employment policy. Employment package with recruitment on war footing to win over the frustrated & disappointed educated youth is the need of the hour, Sadhotra added.
Former Minister suggested BJP Govt not to waste state exchequer on Ministers visits or B2V. It is creating negative effect on common man.
