MUMBAI, Jan 18: Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Kashmir Files” is set to return to theatres on January 19, the makers announced on Wednesday.
The film, which was one of the highest grossing movies of the year 2022, will be released to mark the Kashmiri Hindu Genocide Day.
“#TheKashmirFiles is re-releasing on 19th January – The Kashmiri Hindu Genocide Day. This is the first time ever a film is releasing twice in a year. If you missed watching it on BIG SCREEN, book your tickets NOW” Agnihotri tweeted.
Written and directed by Agnihotri and produced by Zee Studios, the film depicts the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir following the killings of people from the community by terrorists.
“The Kashmir Files” featured Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi, among others. It is produced by Pallavi Joshi, Abhishek Agarwal in association with Zee studios. (Agencies)
