JAMMU, July 31: The Rotaract Club Akhnoor Supreme, in an impressive program, announced the appointment of Vivek Gupta as its new president and Vasu Kolhi as the new secretary for the term 2024-2025.
The installation ceremony, held at the Kameshwar Palace, was a distinguished event graced by the presence of Sham Lal Sharma, former Cabinet Minister and vice president of J&K BJP, who served as the chief guest.
Sharma, in his address, commended the Rotaract Club for its dedication to community service and the development of young leaders. He highlighted the essential role of youth in societal advancement and praised the Club’s accomplishments under the leadership of outgoing president Jiteshwar Singh.
The ceremony was attended by notable members of the Club, including Karun Gupta, Sourav Singh, Gourav Gupta, Shubham Langer, Akashdeep, Lalit, Kanav Gupta along with all other Club members. Outgoing president Jiteshwar Singh welcomed Vivek Gupta and Vasu Kolhi to their new roles.
In his acceptance speech, Vivek Gupta outlined his vision for the Club, focusing on enhancing youth engagement, community service and leadership skills. Vasu Kolhi also shared her enthusiasm for taking on the responsibilities of secretary, emphasizing teamwork and organizational growth.
