JAMMU, Dec 5: Viraj Kala Kendra (VKK), Jammu celebrated its 28th Foundation Day today at Amar Singh Club auditorium.
Raj Bharti, chairman of the club, expressed the club has been established in 1992 with the efforts of herself and her late husband Vidya Rattan Khajuria, an eminent sculpturist of the times.
S K Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax was the chief guest on the occasion, Speaking on the occasion, Sharma applauded the work done by the Club in the field of art and culture during the past few years especially in the lockdown period.
Freedom Fighters Memorial Association felicitated S K Sharma for his contribution in the field of literature. They also felicitated Raj Bharti, chairperson of the Club.
A ‘nukkad’ based on COVID-19 was presented by the members of Viraj Kala Kendra. The ‘nukkad’ was written and directed by Rajneesh Gupta. The artists who performed were Kaluta Tapasvi, Sapna Soni, Pawan Verma, Meera Tapasvi, Anuj, Anmol and Ritik.
A beautiful song was presented by Arun Slan. The proceeding of the programme was done by Sapna Soni and Sunny Mujoo.
