JAMMU, June 4: Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, has introduced three attractively-priced SMS packs for J&K customers. The move follows the lifting of the 4-year long SMS ban on pre-paid mobiles in J&K.
Strategically priced, the three SMS packs have been designed to provide subscribers with maximum benefits while complying with TRAI rules on SMS at the same time. The plans have been designed keeping in mind different requirement of different customers.
For customers with limited usage, Vodafone brings the Rs 12 SMS pack with a validity of 7 days enabling them to send 70 Local and STD messages. The Rs 38 SMS pack with a validity of 14 days lets the Vodafone customers send up to 225 Local and STD messages. For those wanting more, the Rs 74 SMS pack having a validity of 28 days allows them to send up to 500 Local and STD messages. Customers can send maximum of 100 free SMS per day, post 100 SMS the customers would be charged at base rate.
