SRINAGAR: Top security officials in Kashmir today called on Governor N N Vohra separately and discussed the security situation in the State and the arrangements for the annual Amarnath Yatra, beginning from June 29.
Inspector General, CRPF, Kashmir, Ravideep Singh Sahi and Inspector General, BSF, Sonali Mishra called on Vohra in separate meetings at Raj Bhavan here, an official spokesman said.
He said the two officials briefed the Governor about their respective areas of responsibility, the obtaining internal security situation and the arrangements being made for the safety and security of the pilgrims who are scheduled to undertake Amarnath Yatra 2017. (AGENCIES)
