Jammu division has witnessed the hottest days for the past one week and there is no respite as yet. At present Jammu sizzles at 44 degree celsius.
Frequent voltage fluctuation and power cuts have added to the miseries of children, aged persons and patients who are having sleepless nights.
Smart meters have been installed in our area but promise of uninterrupted power supply with stable voltage has not been kept.
Hope the authorities (P.D.D) will ensure regular power supply at stable voltage by installing an additional transformer at the present premises. This will also check damage to electronic gadgets. The transmission lines and distribution system also need to be upgraded. Hope the authorities (P.D.D) will kindly do the needful to save us from scorching heat at the earliest.
