JAMMU, May 3: The big election promises of Congress and other groups in INDI Alliance is only a lip service to befool masses in Ladakh.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Gulam Ali Khatana in a statement issued to the media today.
The BJP Rajya Sabha Member urged the voters of Ladakh Union Territory to value their vote and cast the same in favour of BJP candidate, Tashi Gyalson in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
“By voting BJP candidate, Tashi Gyalson you will be strengthening the hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi whose Government in turn will prioritise further development of region, work for progress, more employment avenues, peace and safety,” Khatana said referring to the people of Ladakh Union Territory.
He also said that people of Ladakh can’t imagine developments which will be there in the Union Territory after PM Modi will helm the affairs of the country for the third time.
“What the Congress and others have given to the people of Ladakh in all the years of their rule should be kept in mind before voting and the developmental works accomplished in the last 10 years of Government led by PM Modi should never be forgotten while voting,” the BJP leader said.
He also said that so far the Congress and others have only discriminated with Ladakh region but it was the BJP Government led by PM Modi which worked with the principle of equality and welfare of all under the theme of “Sab KaSaath Sab KaVikas.”
Khatana also said that in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections BJP will sweep the elections all over the country by winning more than 400 seats as is the mood of people all over India.
