Vote for change, development: Malhotra appeals voters

JAMMU, Dec 2: Congress candidate from Jammu East Assembly Constituency, Vikram Malhotra today appealed the people to vote for change. He asked the people to give mandate to honest and dedicated candidate for ensuring development of the constituency.
As a part of ongoing campaigning for the Assembly elections-2014, Malhotra today toured the localities of Taange Wali Gali, Khatika Talab, Lanes near Science College, Christian Colony and interacted with masses.
Addressing the people, Malhotra said various leaders in the past have exploited the masses only to satisfy their personal interests. He asked the people to give mandate to honest and dedicated candidate for ensuring development in the constituency. He added that fed up of all this, the people of the constituency are yearning for a change.
Cautioning the people against the leaders who come out of hibernation only during elections, he said if such leaders get elected it will severely affect the progress and development of the constituency. He said if given chance he will try to address all the important issues of the Jammu East Assembly Constituency.
Malhotra also listened to the grievances of the locals and assured them that he will address to these issues, if voted to power.
Expressing gratitude over the massive support shown by the supporters during yesterday’s rally, Malhotra said that the participation of thousands of people belonging to all walks of life in the rally has shown that the public is united today on a single platform and everybody wants to see a change in Jammu East and also in the State.
