Voters’ awareness programme concludes with play ‘Loktantra Ka Mantra’

JAMMU, Apr 20: The three day’s show series by Natrang of play ‘Loktantra Ka Mantra’ concluded here today.
Earlier Natrang opened this play in the presence of District Development Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar and officers of SVEEP team, Jammu.
The second show in Jammu was showcased at the Auditorium of Teacher Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar and it was organized by district administration Jammu and supported by Chief Electoral Office, J&K.
Written by Padamshree Balwant Thakur and directed by Neeraj Kant this mesmerizing play aimed at creating awareness ensuring maximum participation of voters in electoral process.
The play ‘Loktantra Ka Mantra’ opens with the aggression of frustrated youth struggling to survive in the contaminated air of corruption, scandals and dishonesty.
They do not see any hope in the future as their present is being rotten by the corrupt system but when questioned by an educated person that ‘what are they doing to come out of this situation, they were speechless as they just want the things to happen but are not ready to be part of that change.
Terming them as the most vibrant human resource of the world, the educated person prompts them to come forward, take the command and change their fate.
The most effective way of changing the fate of a country is the way of voting.
Through this play all the sections of society are prompted not to run away from their ultimate responsibility of voting for the stronger democracy of India.
A handout stated that now the Natrang team will present this theatre show at Sunderbani and Nowshera on April 21 and 22 at 11 am.
Artists who performed in the play were Neeraj Kant, Subash Jamwal, Mohd. Yaseen, Brijesh Avtar Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Palshin Dutta, Payal Khanna, Priya Kashyup, Aadesh Dhar, Kushal Bhat, Sanket Bhagat, Amit Rana, Kananpreet Kaur Arun Sharma and Vansh Pandotra.
Music of the play was operated by Chaitanaya Shekhar.
