Voting procedure for KPs

Sir,
It is a strange thing to note that voting procedure for Kashmiri migrants is a lengthy and cumbersome one. Filling of ‘M Form’ and depositing it consumes valuable time of  electorates in this exercise. Voices against this proceeding have time and again been raised by the concerned people but no solution to the problem has been sorted out till now by the Election Commission of India. One is at a loss to understand why this sort of precedence has been evolved for the Kashmiri migrants. Now when the Assembly elections in Jammu and  Kashmir are nearing Kashmiri migrants cannot afford to sit back in the democratic process.  But here it is pertinent to say that voting procedure for Kashmiri migrants needs to be simplified so that everyone who has attained the age of 18 years  will make use of their voting right in the democratic process of the State. Keeping in view the complicated procedure and time consuming job of ‘M Forms’ it is right  to time for the Election Commission of India to make the voting procedure easier one   for Kashmiri migrants as it remains their long complaint with the Election Commission of India.
Yours etc…..
