JAMMU, Sept 10: All J&K SRTC Volunteers Retired Employees Association (VREA) held a protest demonstration against the Government and higher authorities of Transport Department.
The protestors led by Dev Raj Bali, president, VREA raised slogans against the Government for not redressing their long pending demands.
While speaking, Dev Raj Bali said that the Government and higher authorities of Transport Department are bent upon to harass the VRS/GHS employees of J&K SRTC.
He demanded COLA arrears pending since 1999, arrears of 6th Pay Commission due from January 1, 2006 and implementation of Corporation benefits.
Among others present were Surinder Singh, Balwinder Singh, BB Sharma, Shiv Kumar, Mohinder Singh, Dhyan Singh, DN Sharma, Kulbir Singh, etc.
