VRS employees highlight demands

JAMMU, Sept 9: State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC), Volunteer Retirement Employees Association criticized the Government and SRTC management for not conceding their long pending demands.
A meeting of the association was held under the chairmanship of Dev Raj Bali, president, VRS Union and general secretary Surinder Singh.
While speaking, they said that the SRTC management and the Government are not redressing their demands including 126 slabs of COLA and benefits of Sixth Pay Commission.
The association members resolved to hold protest on September 12, so as to get their demands redressed by the Government.
Among others present were Balwinder Singh, Nilam Kumari, BV Sharma, Asan Elahi, Surjit Singh, Gulshan Singh, DN Sharma, etc.
