JAMMU, Sept 3: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees Association has expressed gratitude to the State Finance Department for issuing an order on August 28, regarding release of 6th Pay Commission arreas of Public Sector Undertakings.
Addressing a press conference here today, president of the Association Dev Raj Bali said that nearly 800 employees of SRTC who were accorded VRS extend gratitude to the Government for issuing Order No. A/Misc(2012)-P-1038 dated 28-8-2012, concerning release of 6th Pay Commission arrears of Public Sector Undertakings.
Mr Bali said now these VRS given employees have high hopes from the SRTC management regarding release of their pending 6th Pay Commission arrears. He urged upon the MD SRTC to implement this order. It was also announced during meeting on April 10 this year that Corporation was earning good profit. Therefore, the Management must take initiative to release the Pay Commissioner arrears of VRS/GHS and normally retired employees of the SRTC. Surinder Singh also spoke in the conference.
