Vyapar Mandal demands relief package for traders

JAMMU, June 19: Federation of All India Vyapar Mandal Jammu (FAIVM) J&K unit urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary Arun Mehta to announce a relief package for Jammu traders.
In this regards, the office bearers of the Federation led by Sanjay Bansal, president FAIVM J&K Unit along with Arun Sharma, Ajay Ahuja, Bhishambar Dass and Pranab Dutta as well as all the units of Jammu province including Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda, Samba, Ramban and Reasi met with their respective Deputy Commissioners and submitted their memorandum of relief package to them.
They also demanded all bazaars and shops should be open immediately to safeguard shopkeepers from the more losses.
They appealed the J&K Govt to consider the possibility of waiving off the bank interests, fixed electricity charges, trade license fees and other charges at least for the period of COVID-19 pandemic as par with Gujarat Government.
