Vyeth releases short film on Mata Kheer Bhawani

JAMMU, Apr 2: Vyeth a socio cultural organization today released its short film on Mata Kheer Bhawani Tulmulla during a function held at TRT Muthi.
Swami Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion while Santosh Shah Nadaan a well known writer and poet and Avtar Krishan were the guests of honour.
The function was attended by a galaxy of scholars including Dr Sushil Wattal, Anil Bhat, Bureau Chief PTI, Ramesh Hangloo founder Director Sharda Radio, Makhan Lal Saraf a well known dramatist, Kusum Dhar, Ashok Kangan, Virender Raina president PK M K Jalali, Kuldeep Saproo, Kamal Ganjoo, Nath Ji Raina, Dr Tej and others.
The function started with Bhajan Kirtan by Dr Nirash, Naina Saproo and Shanti Lal Sidh while the stage was managed by Ramesh Marhata. The welcome address was made by Naina Saproo.
The film is on the history of Goddess and her travel from Sri Lanka to Kashmir who was brought to Tulmulla by Hanuman on the insistence of Lord Rama after he (Lord Rama) invaded Lanka.
In the film background of Tulmulla was also given and it was stated that a Mulbery trees existed at this place which in Kashmiri are called Tul and place named as Tulmulla.
Devotees especially Kashmiri Pandits in thousands used to visit this holy place and pay their obeisance to Goddess especially on the occasion of Zesht Ashtami –the birthday of Mata.
During the travel from Lanka to Kashmir Valley the places where Goddess halted in Valley they became her shrines and small springs also existed there which included Loktipora in Anantnag, Manzgam in Kulgam, Raithan in Budgam and Tikker in Kupwara district.
Swami Vivekananda and Swami Ram Tirath the great saints of India have also visited this holy place and mediated there during their life time, said Prof Virender Rawal president of Vyeth.
He said Vyeth is wedded to inform the people about the Kashmir and its religious places and they want to take this message to every household of KPs.
It was also said that the holy spring changes its colour to black when misfortunes take place. It changed the colour in 1947 Pak raiders invasion, in 1965 Indo-Pak war and in 1990 when Kashmir was engulfed by turmoil.

Earlier premiere of the film was released in Gandhi college Raipur by president Hindu Education Society Kashmir (HESK), Prof B L Zuthsi.
