Srinagar, Oct 23: Prof. Gull Wani, Professor of Political Science, University of Kashmir, presented a copy of”South Asia-State, Society and Development” to Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
This volume, written by Prof. Wani, provides a wide ranging perspective on vital political, governance and developmental challenges in South Asia.
Governor complemented Prof. Wani, who has earlier served as Director of the Institute of Kashmir Studies, for bringing out a compendium which would make a valuable contribution towards a better understanding of the varied complex issues which face countries in South Asia.
