I want to play ‘Doctor Who’ villain: Jack Whitehall

LONDON, Nov 29:  Actor Jack Whitehall said he is hoping for a call from Steven Moffat about a role in ‘Doctor Who’.
The 26-year-old actor described the BBC sci-fi show as a dream job, and pointed out that Moffat had clearly already seen his acting skills because he had cast a number of his co-stars in series 8, reported Digital Spy.
“I’d love to do ‘Doctor Who’. I need to corner Steven Moffat,” said Whitehall.
“He had Zawe (Ashton) (Fresh Meat) and Michelle Gomez (Bad Education) in the last series – they were both very good in it. I’d like to play a villain. My heroes are people like Jeremy Irons and Alan Rickman. I’d love to do my version of a Rickman villain,” said the comic. It would be Gruber-esque,” he added. (PTI)
