RAJOURI, Aug 8: An absconder wanted in a case of attempt to murder and other sections of law has been arrested by police after 16 years in Manjakot area of Rajouri district.
The wanted accused has been identified as Mohd Aslam, son of Mohd Syed, resident of Naika Panjgrain near the LOC. The accused was evading his arrest since last 16 years. He was wanted in case FIR No. 47/2007 U/Ss 307/323/34 RPC of Police Station Manjakot.
He was produced before the Court from where he has now been sent to District Jail Dhangri by the order of Court. The arrest was made by a police team headed by SHO Manjakot, Abrar Khan under the supervision of SDPO Manjakot, Zaffer Rather.
