Srinagar, Sept 1: Police in Kulgam today said to have arrested a notorious drug peddler identified as Aashiq Hussain Mir, son of Abdul Hameed Mir, a resident of Okey, Kulgam who was evading arrest.
Acting swiftly on specific information regarding his presence, a special team from PS Kulgam headed by SHO Kulgam under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Kulgam Ghulam Muhamad Bhat raided the specified location and arrested the absconder.
“As per police records, he was wanted by law for his involvement in case FIR No. 202/2021 of Police Station Kulgam,” police said.
