JAMMU: In a major breakthrough, a Hizb terrorist wanted for arson and looting was arrested alive from Reasi district today.
”In a joint operation launched by Reasi and Kulgam Police, one Sabzar Ahmed Mantoo, son of Gaffar Ahmed Mantoo, resident of Khushibhatpura, DH Pura, Kulga, a C-category militant was apprehended alive,” a senior police officer here said.
He said that he was nabbed from the house of Nizam Din Pogli of Chinkah, tehsil Thakrakote, District Reasi. The officer said that he was involved in arson and looting of PS DH Pora in 2016 and was wanted in many cases. ”He was from Hizbul Mujahideen outfit,” said the officer. (AGENCIES)
