RAJOURI, June 28: The police arrested a wanted criminal in rape case and evading arrest since long in Nowshera area of district Rajouri.
Accused has been identified as Mohammad Ishtiaq, son of Mohammad Aslam, a resident of Lamberi on Nowshera.
He has been arrested by a team of police post Lamberi headed by SI Mehmood Khan under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, Brijesh Sharma.
A warrant under Section 512 was also issued against the accused by the court of Special Mobile Magistrate, Rajouri.
The accused stands booked in a case FIR 244 /2014 under Sections 363, 376 RPC of Police Station, Rajouri.
