War on black money

Sir,
One wonders why our political parties in the opposition are not happy with demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes when commonman is quite happy with this gesture.
Rather than  creating confusion among the public, these political parties should reassure the common man that their money is safe, and they don’t have to worry. The political parties are within their rights to take on the Government for any misadventure or any action that is not in the interest of people or the nation. It will  be welcomed by one and all. But criticising  Government for the sake of criticism will only be laughed at. It will earn ridicule than appreciation.
There is no doubt that counterfeit currency is being put in circulation from across the Pakistan border and used by terrorists. It needs to be dealt with sternly. By bearing “temporary hardship” the PM says, every person would be making a contribution to the ‘Mahayajna’, designed to rid the country of corruption and black money.
Let every Indian rise to the occasion, and contribute in making the country ‘black money’ free. It will be an act of patriotism and will be well appreciated.
Yours etc…
