Warm farewell accorded to retirees

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, May 31: J&K Armed Police Headquarters Srinagar organized an impressive function to bid farewell to Sub-Inspector Krishan Saroop Rathore on his superannuation. The function was graced by SJM Gilani (ADGP Armed J&K) and other senior officers. While speakingon the occasion, the ADGP wished the retiring officer a healthy and prosperous post retirement life. District Police Samba accorded warm sendoff to 4 retiring officers in an impressive function organized at District Police Headquarters Samba which was attended by officers and officials of Samba Police and relatives of the retiring police officers and officials. The officers and officials who retired from service today on attaining superannuation are SI Kasturi Lal, ASI Som Dutt, Senior Grade constable Parkash Chand and Senior Grade Constable Gurcharan Singh. SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Additional SP Surinder Choudhary and Deputy SP DAR Samba Ajay Anand were present on the occasion. The office of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Doda accorded a warm farewell to Senior Malaria Inspector, Om Parkash Shan on his retirement in a grand function organized today. Chief Medical Officer, Dr A H Zargar besides staff of CMO, Deputy CMO Office and Planning Section was present on the occasion. All of them wished the retiring officer a happy and prosperous retired life. Staff of Integrated Child Development Projects (ICDS) of all the 8 projects of Doda and the staff of District Programme Office ICDS Doda bade farewell to Shahida Parveen, DPO ICDS Doda on her superannuation from the Government service after rendering 40 years of unblemished and exemplary services. Among other postings, she served as Supervisor and CDPO- ICDS in various projects across the UT, Deputy Director Employment Doda, GM DIC Doda, and DPO ICDS Doda. Tirlok Singh, Assistant Secretary, Zila Sainik Welfare Office Samba, was accorded a warm send off on his superannuation, in a function organized by staff of the Office. Brigadier Gurmeet Singh Shan (retired), Director, Sainik Welfare Board Jammu and Colonel Manjit Singh Bhau (Retired), Zila Sainik Welfare Officer and other staff members wished the retiree good health and prosperous post retirement life.
