Warm farewell accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Aug 31: RPHQ Rajouri organized a farewell function on the superannuation of Inspector Mohd Ashraf Magray who retired today.
Officers and officials of RPHQ Rajouri and District Police Rajouri including the Deputy Inspector General of Police Dr Mohd Haseeb Mughal, SSP Rajouri Amritpal Singh, SP Headquarters Vivek Sheikhar and Deputy SP Headquarters Mudassar Hussain, besides few family members and friends of the retiring officer attended the function. During the function, officers lauded the services rendered by the retiring officer. A welfare gift of Rs one lakh was presented to the officer by the DIG RP Range. All the officers present in the function wished for happy and healthy post retirement life of Inspector Ashraf Magray.
SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) organized a function in the honour of Professor Rakesh Nanda (Director Education SKUAST-J), who superannuated today after rendering distinguished services of 39 years. Director Research SKUAST-Jammu and Advisor SKUAST-TAJ Dr RK Samnotra while listing Dr Nanda’s achievements as a teacher, researcher/contributions in the discipline of Extension Education, wished him a healthy/prosperous post retirement life. President, SKUAST-TAJ Dr Vikas Sharma and other office bearers also wished him a very healthy retired life.
Jammu Police hosted an impressive farewell function in District Police Line Jammu to bid adieu to SI Jai Pal, SI Parshotam Lal, SI Kamal Ram, SI Som Nath, ASI Puran Chand and ASI Chaman Lal, who superannuated from their active services. The send-off function was chaired by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli while SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta, SP PC Kameshwar Puri, Deputy SP DAR K D Bhagat and other serving and retired police officers were also present. The SSP, while interacting with retired police officers, wished them good health and long life for the next phase of their life.
On attaining the age of superannuation, Director Technical, JKERA Maneesh Bhatt was given a warm send off by the employees of ERA. Speaking on the occasion, senior officers highlighted the contribution of retiring officer to the organization and wished him a happy, healthy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Parveen Akhter, Section Officer at Project Office, Command Area Development Jammu, got retired today after rendering 40 years of her services. A farewell function was organized in this connection at Directorate of Command Area Development Jammu office. All the staff members present in the function wished the retiring officer best of health, happiness and success on her new journey in life.
