JAMMU, Feb 29: Warm farewell were accorded to the officers retired from various departments here today.
Yash Paul WCC of the office of the Chief Horticulture Office Jammu attained superannuation here today.
He retired after rendering 26 year of service in Horticulture Department District Jammu with full dedication and devotion.
Yash Paul accorded warm farewell in a simple but impressive function held in the office of the Chief Horticulture Office Udheywalla Jammu.
The function was presided over by Ashwani Kumar Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu, Sandeep Kumar Gupta DL SMS, (Pomology), Abdul Hamid DMPP and HDO Jammu Nazran Khan besides other staff members, who wished him healthy, happy and prosperous post Retirement life.
Meanwhile, Opinder Krishen Raina, senior Manager Ellaquai Dehati Bank, Jammu was also accorded warm send off in a function.
Raina retired after rendering more than 38 years of sincere services to the institution.
Area Manager and other colleagues recalled his association and shared the memories with him.
Chairman of the Bank, Fayaz Ahmad Wani and General Managers appreciated his contribution to the Bank and wished him sound health and a joyful retirement life.
Er. Satbir Singh Kukal was also retired from the post of Superintending Engineer PMGSY Reasi/ Udhampur circle after a long chequered career of 36 yrs in government service.
He worked in different engineering department at various posts including in PHE Budgam, Irrigation Department Baramulla Upper Sindh Hydroelectric power Kangan and Kishan Ganga Hydroelectric project Kangan.
During his tenure in ERA he has been instrumental in laying of 75 km water supply line along with the construction of 1O overhead water tanks in Jammu city, constructed Degree college Bani , construction of University institute of Engineering and Technology Kathua apart from working in PMGSY Billawar, Doda, Mahore and Reasi.
A function was organised by Kathua Police to accord farewell to Kulwant Singh (Asst. Sub Inspector) who got superannuated from his active services today.
The function was chaired by Addl. SP Kathua Paramjeet Singh alongwith Sr. Prosecuting Officer Munish Kumar, DySP Headquarters Kathua Manjeet Singh, DySP DAR Kathua Subash Chander and other serving Police officers of District Police Kathua were also present.
Addl. SP Kathua on the occasion appreciated the progress of the welfare measures and congratulated the retiring officer for his dedication and devotion that he exhibited while discharging his duties and wished him good health and long life for the next phase of his life.
Master Chuni Lal Bhat of Govt Higher Secondary School Camp, Jagti was also retired from Govt service.
In this regard a farewell programme was organised in which colleagues glorified his personality by showering praises and recalling his tireless dedication towards his work.
Principal Sanjew Kumar Pandita lauded his role in the institution.
