Warm farewell accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Aug 31: Staff and officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Anil Kumar Bakshi, Deputy Director of Agriculture (Trainings), Ganesh Dass (Field Supervisor, VIS, Jammu) and Bopinder Singh (Field Assistant, ADLE Jammu) who retired today after rendering more than 37 years of service to the Department.
Director of Agriculture Production & FW Jammu, K K Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, wished the retirees a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life. Warm wishes for a happy and prosperous life were also extended to retiring officials of the department from other districts. They were Sanjeev Mishra (SMS-III, Poonch), Joginder Singh (JAEO, Marh) and Feroz-ud-Din (JAEO).
SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) gave a warm send off to NK Gupta Associate Professor (Agricultural Engineering) on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services of more than 36 years. President of Teaching Association Dr Vikas Sharma and his team of office bearers while highlighting Dr Gupta’s contributions in teaching, research and extension, wished him a very healthy post-retirement life. Dean Basic Sciences Dr SEH Rizvi, Dean FoA Dr Bikram Singh and faculty members/non teaching staff from Division of Agricultural Engineering, Dr Rajeev Bharat, Dr Devinder Sharma, Dr Anil Bhat and Dr Poonam Parihar were also present on the occasion.
District Institute of Education & Trainings (DIET) Reasi today organized a simple but impressive function at its Conference Hall to bid farewell to Kuldeep Kumar Badyal HoD DIET Reasi, who attained superannuation after serving the Education Department for about 39 years. Speaking on the occasion, Principal DIET Reasi O P Bhagat and other officers wished the retiring officer a very happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Zahida Parveen, Head Master of Govt Boys High School Rangpur Maulanian, R S Pura Jammu, was given a warm farewell by the staff members on her retirement from the service. She rendered 35 years of service to the School Education Department. All the colleagues wished her happy and healthy post retirement life.
Jammu Police hosted an impressive farewell function in District Police Line Jammu to bid adieu to the officers/officials who superannuated from their active services.
The retiring police officials namely Inspector Kamlesh Kour, SI Harbans Lal, SI Mahesh Kumar, ASI Mulkh Raj and follower Bua Dita were present on the occasion.
The send-off function was chaired by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, who was flanked by SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta and Deputy SP DAR K D Bhagat and other senior serving and retired Police officers.
SSP Jammu while interacting with retiring officers wished them good health and long life for the next phase of their life.
