JAMMU, Aug 31: The officers and officials of J&K SC, ST & BC Development Corporation today extended warm wishes for a healthy post-retirement life to Mohammad Saleem, Managing Director of the Corporation, who attained superannuation today after rendering 34 years and eight months of Government service. He was also bade farewell by many officers of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services who worked with him during his service. The farewell function was also attended by officers from Social Welfare Department.
A grand valedictory function was organized today at Government Higher Secondary School Boys Doda in the honour of Masooda Hashmi (Lecturer in History) on her superannuation. Principal of the School Ruby Naz along with staff, students and various dignitaries from cross sections of the society including DEPO Doda Mohd Ayaz Iqbal Mughal, Prof Zaheer Abass Hashmi and Advocate Asim Hashmi attended the function. Various speakers highlighted the distinguished services of the retiree in the field of education and wished her a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
The Joint Director of Information Kashmir Inam ul Haq Siddiqui accorded a warm farewell to Nazir Drabu, Cameraman on his superannuation today after rendering more than two decades of dedicated service in the Department. The Joint Director highlighted the contribution of the retiring official towards the Department and wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life. Deputy Director (PR) Kashmir Bilal Mukhtar, Assistant Director Mohammad Aslam Khan and District Information Officer Ganderbal Aafaq Gadda also extended their wished.
Staff and Officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded farewell to Devinder Sharma Sharma (Plant Protection Officer, Jammu), who retired today. Senior officers of the Department wished him a healthy and happy retired life. Meanwhile, in another function organized at Zonal office, Thanamandi, Zohra Begum (Field Assistant, Sub Division Darhal) was accorded a warm farewell. She retired today after serving 23 years of meritorious services in different capacities in the Agriculture Department.
Non Teaching Employees Association (NTEAJ), SKUAST- Jammu accorded warm send off to Shiv Charan Sharma (Head Assistant, Dean Office, SKUAST-J), who retired after attaining the age of superannuation today. The farewell was accorded in the presence of Dr S K Gupta (Director Extension), Dr AK Mondal (Dean FOA), Dr Rajesh Katoch (DSW), K D Singh (president NTEAJ), Zamir Ul Haq (general secretary) and other office bearers of NTEAJ.
SP College, Srinagar today accorded a warm send off to one of its employees, Ms Kounsar, who attained her superannuation today. The Nodal Principal Kashmir Division/Principal SP College Prof (Dr) Khurshid Ahmad Khan and Heads of Departments and other senior officials as well as the non-teaching staff of the college attended farewell held at the College Auditorium and wished her a very happy and fulfilling post-retirement life.
