JAMMU, Jan 31: Directorate of Information and Public Relations today accorded an affectionate adieu to Assistant Information Officer, Abdul Gaffar Gujri on his superannuation. Speaking on the occasion, Director Information and Public Relations, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar, hailed Gaffar’s role in DIPR and extended her best wishes to Gaffar for post-retirement life.
An impressive farewell function was organized at PHE office Samba to bid adieu to Rama Kant Khajuria, Assistant Executive Engineer (Technical Officer to X-En PHE Division Samba), who retired today from Government service on attaining age of superannuation. All the staff members of the office attended the farewell function. They lauded the services of the retiring officer and wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life.
SKUAST-Jammu Officers’ Welfare Association in presence of various employees of the University today accorded warm send off to Manjeet Singh, Assistant Registrar, who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation. President of the Association, Dr Bharat Bhushan (Joint Registrar), Rajesh Talwar (Registrar) and other officers of the University lauded the services of the retiree and wished him healthy and prosperous post-retirement life.
A farewell party was organized today by the staff of Command Area Development, Jammu at Conference Hall of Command Area to bid adieu to Rakesh Kaul, Agricultural Extension Officer and Taranjit Kour, Private Secretary. A function was organized at headquarters of IRP 16th Battalion, Ramban to bid warm farewell to Nazir Ahmad-Inspector (Telecom) of this unit who after rendering more than 38 years of service proceeded on superannuation with effect from today. The function was attended by officers/Jawans of the Battalion and other guests of the retiring officer. Speaking on the occasion, AK Mahajan, SSP, CO IRP 16th Battalion wished the retiree a healthy/happy post retirement life with his family.
Rajinder Kumar Kilam, Senior Physical Master in the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) retired today on attaining the age of superannuation. A farewell party was organized in this connection by his colleagues and senior officers including Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General, DYSS, J&K, who wished him happy post-retirement life.
SPS PTS Kathua accorded a warm send off to SI Kulbir Singh and HC Fazal Hussain who attained superannuation today after rendering more than 39 and 31 years services, respectively in the Police Department. District Police Reasi today organized a simple but impressive function at District Police Lines Reasi to give a warm send off to Sub Inspector Pardeep Singh who attained superannuation after serving the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department for more than 41 years. At its special meet held today, the Jammu University SC/ST Employees’ Association extended affectionate farewell to their colleague Des Raj Lange who retired as Head Assistant after rendering 32 years of unblemished service in the University. Association president R L Kaith and general secretary Surjeet Singh Heer wished him a prosperous, healthy and happy post retirement life.
