JAMMU, Apr 28: IRP 11th Battalion hosted a simple but impressive ceremony in the lawns of DPL Anantnag to bid adieu to its 9 officers of the Unit which were of the rank of SIs and ASIs who are superannuating at the end of this month.
Commandant Sandeep Mehta and the staff honoured each retiring officer with certificates and token gifts. The highlight of the function was that all the retiring officers were handed over their pension papers complete in all respects from AG office. Those who are retiring include SI Mohd Anwar, SI Mohd Sultan, SI Bashir Ahmad, ASI Anaytullah, ASI Abdul Rashid, ASI Ghulam Mohd, ASI Mohd Afzal and ASI Mohd Ashraf. The Commandant, Deputy COs and all other staff gave a warm send off to their colleagues and wished them happy and healthy post-retirement life.
Meanwhile, Jammu University (JU) Non-Teaching Employees’ Union accorded a warm send off to Manjeet Singh (Assistant Registrar), Radha Bharti (Assistant Librarian), Ashok Kumar Sharma (Section Officer), Subash Chander (Section Officer) and Sushma Sahi (Section Officer) on their superannuation. A farewell function was organized today in this connection in the Union office. The office bearers of the Union recalled the outstanding contributions of the retirees and hoped that their efficiency and dedication would serve as a guiding force for their colleagues. All the members gave them best wishes for their future.
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) also accorded a warm farewell to retiring employees Rakesh Kapoor (Deputy Comptroller), Prem Nath (FCLA, Maize Station, Udhampur) and Charan Dass (FCLA, Division of AG, FVSc & AH) at a function held here at Baba Jitto Auditorium at its Chatha campus. Prof J P Sharma (Vice Chancellor of the Varsity) was the chief guest on the occasion. During the function, the VC honoured all the retirees wished them healthy and happy post retirement life. The function was also attended by other officers and officials of the University.
