JAMMU, Aug 1: Power Development Department gave a warm send off to Engineer Haji Asgar Ali Majaz, who retired after rendering 37 years of Service at various posts in the State.
Asgar Ali Majaz served in various capacities as Assistant Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, Executive Engineer and Chief Engineer and finally retired as Development Commissioner Power, PDD, J&K with additional charge as Secretary Technical PDD.
He was bid farewell today in a grand function at the office complex of Development Commissioner Power during which various Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers, Executive Engineers and other staff members were present.
A grand function was organized to bid adieu to Prof (Dr) SK Magotra, Principal, Government Degree College, Udhampur, who retired from the Government service after wrapping the experience of 37 years meritorious and illustrious career as college teacher and academic administrator.
Both teaching and non teaching staff of the college, besides CTA Jammu wing honoured Dr Magotra and wished him a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
