Warm send off accorded to retirees

SRINAGAR, May 1: Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today held a function here to bid an affectionate farewell to its Cameraman Zahoor Ahmed Qazi who attained superannuation after serving the Department for over three decades.
Joint Director Information, Kashmir, Abid Hussain, Assistant Director Information (Advertisement), Shakeela Shawl, Assistant Director Information/Field Publicity Officer, Srinagar, Mohammed Aslam Khan and other senior officers and officials were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Joint Director Information Kashmir recalled his work relation with the retiring cameraman and highlighted his glorious service rendered to the department. The Joint Director impressed upon the fresh faces in the department to follow the footsteps of people like Zahoor Qazi and seek inspiration to excel in their professional lives. He wished Zahoor well for future endeavors. The officers and staff of DIPR also wished the retiring employee a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Director Agriculture Kashmir Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi hosted a farewell party in the honour of 10 Agriculture Officers who attained/attaining superannuation, in the premises of Agriculture Complex Lalmandi, Srinagar. The officers who have retired include Ali, Mohd Bhat (Sc. Mushroom), Abdul Qayoom Lawdari (Assistant Entomologist), Gh Mohi-ud-Din Magray (Enforcement Inspector, Kupwara), Bashir Ahmad Kanna (Biogas, Engineer Kupwara) and Showkat Ahmad Bhat (Subject Matter Specialist/Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer, Beerwa).
Besides, Avinash Chandar Peer (Project Coordinator Mushroom, Kashmir), Mohd Ashraf Qureshi (Agriculture Extension Officer, Arwani), Sarwar Amin Banday (Assistant Soil Conservation, Srinagar), Reyaz Ahmad Khan (Subject Matter Specialist, Kakapora) and Sameena Bano (Research Assistant, Budgam), who are attaining superannuation on May 31, were also given warm send off today keeping in view the holy month of Ramzan ahead.
