JAMMU, Apr 2: Reports continue to pour in about farewell functions having been held to accord farewell to officers and officials who attained age of superannuation on March 31, 2013.
S Rajinder Singh Reen, Teacher, Government Primary School, Lower Saryal (Bhainchh) zone, Kanuyian, Poonch, was accorded warm farewell by staff, students and Sarpanch as also people of the area on his retirement on superannuation. All wished him a happy and healthy life after retirement.
Dr Uma Kant Gupta, Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Department, was given a warn farewell on his superannuation. A function was held in this regard in the office of the Joint Director, ARV Laboratory, R S Pura.
Director Horticulture Jammu, J N Sharma, who retired from the department after rendering over 31 years unblemished services was given warm send off and wished a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
Dr (Mrs) Chitra Mishra, Principal, KV-1, Gandhi Nagar Jammu was given a touching farewell on her superannuation. Officiating Deputy Comissioner KVS Jammu Region, A S Gill, presided over the function and Dr R S Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu and nominee chairman, Vidyalaya Management Committee were present on the occasion.
Mr Sat Paul Sharma, ZEO, was given a warm send off on his attaining superannuation on March 31, 2013. He rendered 39 years unblemished services to the Education Department.
