JAMMU, Sept 4: A warm and affectionate farewell was given to Mohd Zaffer Khan, Supervisor, Estates Department, Civil Secretariat Jammu, who retired on August 31, after attaining the age of superannuation.
The function in this connection was held in the office of Deputy Director, Estates Department and was attended by MR Sharma, Executive Engineer, Rahat Gupta AEE, Imran Khan AEE, and other technical staff, Engineers and officers, who wished the retiring officer a happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
In a function organized in the Conference Hall of Directorate of School Education Kashmir, OSD IMW DSEK Zahoor Ahmad Banday, who retired on August 31, was given a warm send off by the officers and officials of the department including Dr G N Itoo, DSEK.
Speaking on the occasion, the DSEK termed the retiring official a very humble and friendly person, who was very prompt in performing his duties. Joint Directors Abid Hussain, Hemraj Pakhru and Mehboob Hussain termed Zahoor Ahmad as a role model for other employees. They said that the 40 years of long service of Banday towards the Department shall always be remembered.
