Water logging in PDD complex adds to woes of employees

JAMMU, Mar 4: The employees in PDD Complex at Panama Chowk are facing many hardships due water logging during rainy days created by a local nullah flowing from the area.
According to some employees of the office complex the nullah water creates havoc during rainy days as there is total water logging in the area and they have to walk in two feet deep water to enter the office as entire office compound in PDD complex remains submerged for days together.
The water logging has also led to insanitation in the area and the employees apprehend spread of epidemic due to the same. Demanding an everlasting solution to the problem the employees have demanded that a proper drain be constructed so that the water does not enter the office complex in future.
They said the water logging and insanitation has led to health hazards and put the lives of employees and consumers visiting the office complex from time to time in risk.
The employees have sought immediate intervention of the authorities and appealed the higher ups in the PDD to take up the issue with Civic authorities.
