KATHUA, Dec 4: The water supply in five villages of Kathua tehsil has remained disrupted for over last 10 days after the PHE Station at village Mah developed a snag.
Besides, the village Mah people in adjoining villages of Mehtabpur, Kadoh, Jandor etc are facing acute water scarcity since then. Despite the repeated pleas to concerned authorities they have failed to solve the problem and restore the water supply to the area.
The authorities are passing bucks against each other said Madan Lal a resident of the area. He said while the mechanical engineers blame civil the civil engineers blame the mechanical and no one bothers to solve the problem.
The inhabitants of these villages have warned to come to streets if the water supply was not restored by tomorrow.
