JAMMU, July 29: The water supply to old Jammu city and its outskirts areas will remain affected on July 30.
According to Executive Engineer, PHE City Division No I, Jammu, due to erratic behavior of river Tawi i.e. sudden rise and fall of water levels and high turbidity, the pumping of water treatment plant Sitlee has got reduced.
“As such, water supply to parts of old Jammu city, New Plot, Sarwal, Subhash Nagar, Rehari, Janipur, Paloura, Chinore and adjoining areas shall remain affected on July 30”, he said, and urged the public to make use of water judiciously.
