JAMMU, July 31: Many areas of the city will have no water supply for the next four days and the authorities concerned have advised the public to use the water judiciously.
In a handout, Executive Engineer PHE City, Division number-1 informed that due to incessant rains and erratic behavior of River Tawi coupled with high turbidity and frequent power interruption at various pumping stations due to inclement weather, the water supply to many areas will remain affected.
The handout also stated that water supply shall remain affected from August 1 to 4 in areas including Gujjar Nagar, Chand Nagar, Talab Khatikan, Dalpatian Mohalla, Purani Mandi, Mohalla Malhotrian, Rajinder Bazar, Kanak Mandi, Raghunath Bazar, Hari Market, Shalamar Road, Parade, Roop Nagar, Durga Nagar, Ban Talab, Keran, Chinore, Shakti Nagar, Shiv Nagar, Talab Tillo, Bakshi Nagar, Resham Ghar and Rajpura.
